Clinical Herbal Apprenticeship: This comprehensive program is designed for herbal students aiming to become Registered Herbalists (RH) through the American Herbalists Guild (AHG). Over the course of 400 clinical hours, students will engage in hands-on learning, blending ancient herbal wisdom with modern clinical practices. This training includes up to 100 hours of supervised clinical practice in a formal setting, and at least 300 hours of independent practice, where students manage their own cases. Through client intakes, herbal protocol development, and follow-up care, students will deepen their practical skills. Mentorship sessions, clinical case study development, and practitioner skill-building round out the program, preparing participants for the RH certification and successful careers in herbal medicine.

The Healing Web is a transformative model designed to foster partnerships within the healthcare system, particularly in nursing, aimed at restoring holistic and integrative health practices. Created by a group of nurses in both education and service, the model seeks to shift the paradigm of healthcare by cultivating a community of trust, caring, and mutual support. Jen Cline, the founder of Cline Apothecary and instructor at the Sewanee School of Herbal Medicine, has developed a transformative herbalism curriculum consisting of a course, book, and workbook. These resources guide students through the foundations of herbal medicine, teaching them how to identify and use medicinal plants, prepare remedies, and incorporate holistic health practices into their lives. The course provides a deep dive into herbal theory and practical application, while the book offers detailed insights into plant healing and formulation.
